Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how sergesha ("we", "us", "our") — a sole proprietor registered in the Republic of Armenia — collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit sergesha.com or use any mobile application we publish (each an "App", together with the website, the "Services").
This is a single, umbrella policy that applies to every App we ship unless an App explicitly links to a different, App-specific policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using the Services.
Questions or privacy requests: support@sergesha.com.
1. Information we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum each App needs to function.
You provide directly
- Account identifiers (anonymous user id, or email if you sign in).
- Answers you give during onboarding (preferences, goals, settings).
- Content you voluntarily submit (photos, text, audio, logs, survey answers) — only when the specific feature requires it and only for as long as needed.
- Messages you send to support.
Collected automatically
- Device info: model, OS version, language, timezone, screen metrics, coarse storage / battery state.
- Stable, non-advertising identifiers (IDFV on iOS, Android ID or an app-scoped install id on Android).
- App usage events: screens viewed, buttons tapped, crashes, performance traces, session length.
- Subscription / purchase status returned by the App Store or Google Play.
- IP address and standard log data when you hit our servers.
We do not knowingly collect
- Precise geolocation, unless an App explicitly asks and you grant permission.
- Contacts, SMS, call logs, or device-wide advertising identifiers (IDFA) without an explicit prompt.
- Special-category / "sensitive" personal data (health diagnoses, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, biometric data used for identification). If an App processes any content you choose to enter that happens to be sensitive (e.g. a wellness journal), we treat it as on-device or account-scoped and do not use it for advertising or profiling.
2. How we use information
- Deliver the Service: run the App, sync your account, restore your purchases, send transactional notifications.
- Improve the Service: measure which features are used, find and fix crashes, run A/B tests to pick better UX.
- Support: answer your messages and debug your account.
- Safety and fraud: detect abuse, prevent chargebacks, enforce our Terms.
- Legal: comply with law, court orders, and respond to lawful requests.
Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR): performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running and improving the Services, consent where required (e.g. push notifications, optional tracking), and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Who we share with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share limited data with:
- Apple and Google — payments, subscription status, app distribution.
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, crash reporting, analytics, remote config, cloud messaging.
- RevenueCat / StoreKit — purchase entitlement management.
- Stripe and similar processors — where web payments are offered.
- AI providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or similar) — only when an App uses a generative feature, and only the prompt / content required for that feature. Providers are contractually prohibited from training on our customer data.
- Cloud hosting — to host backend services (e.g. Google Cloud, Cloudflare).
- Support email — when you write to us.
- Legal recipients — law enforcement, regulators, or parties in a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, asset sale) where the data remains subject to this Policy.
Each recipient acts as a processor or independent controller as required by law, under appropriate contractual safeguards.
4. International transfers
Our backend is primarily hosted on managed cloud platforms that operate data centers globally. Data may therefore be processed in the United States, the EU, or other jurisdictions. For transfers out of the EEA / UK we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. You acknowledge that sergesha is based in Armenia and that your data may be processed outside your country of residence.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms. Account data is deleted on request, except where retention is legally required (e.g. tax records of purchases).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws), you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- export it in a portable format,
- restrict or object to certain processing,
- withdraw consent at any time,
- opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising (we do not do this anyway),
- lodge a complaint with your data protection authority,
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email support@sergesha.com from the address tied to your account. We may need to verify your identity.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, email us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS in transit, encryption at rest on managed cloud storage, least-privilege access, vendor review, and periodic vulnerability assessments. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-party links
Our Apps and site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before using them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be signalled by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-App notice. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Policy.
11. Language
The English version of this Policy is the controlling version. Translations are provided for convenience only.
